Frerick’s Family Collection

Tom Frericks collected a large number of artifacts during his years working at UD and after. When conducting research for the project, the builders of the website discovered that the Frericks family had preserved these materials. The following is a small sample of the items from this collection.

Delivering Beer to Workers

On Fridays AD Frericks would bring beer to the construction site of the Arena to boost worker moral. Frericks Family Papers

Frericks and his assistants placed a diagram of the arena on his office wall and each time a customer bought a season ticket they put a push-pin into the spot.
